MyTrueBlinds Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: September 16, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of MyTrueBlinds.com (“Website”) and your purchase of products and services from MyTrueBlinds (“MyTrueBlinds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this Website or placing an order with MyTrueBlinds, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms, together with our other applicable policies.
1. Website Use
You may use this Website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the Website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Attempt to interfere with Website security or operation.
- Access areas or systems that you are not authorized to access.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Use automated methods to improperly collect information from the Website.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate Website access when reasonably necessary to protect the Website, our customers, our business, or our service providers.
2. Products and Product Information
MyTrueBlinds offers custom and made-to-order window-covering products and related products and services, which may include:
- Blinds
- Shades
- Shutters
- Drapery
- Window coverings
- Motorized and smart window-covering products
- Window film or tint products
- Mounting hardware
- Accessories
- Related installation and measuring services
Product photographs, colors, textures, materials, dimensions, specifications, and other product information are provided for informational purposes.
Actual colors and appearances may vary because of:
- Screen and device settings
- Lighting conditions
- Natural material variations
- Fabric or finish variations
- Manufacturing variations
- Product samples versus finished products
We reserve the right to correct product descriptions, specifications, pricing, availability, or other Website information when an error is discovered.
3. Custom-Made Products
Many products sold through MyTrueBlinds are custom-made or made-to-order based on customer-selected specifications.
Custom specifications may include:
- Width and height
- Quantity
- Fabric
- Color
- Finish
- Mount type
- Control type
- Motorization
- Accessories
- Configuration
- Other product options
Because these products are manufactured specifically for the customer, custom orders are subject to the order-change, cancellation, return, exchange, and warranty provisions contained in these Terms and our applicable policies.
4. Customer Measurements
When customers provide their own measurements, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the measurements are accurate unless MyTrueBlinds has separately provided a measurement service or measurement guarantee covering the order.
Incorrect customer measurements do not automatically constitute a product defect.
Customers should carefully review our Measurement Policy and any product-specific measurement instructions before placing an order.
If MyTrueBlinds provides an approved measurement service or measurement guarantee, the specific terms of that service will apply.
5. Quotes and Estimates
Quotes and estimates may be provided for products, installation, commercial projects, custom projects, or other services.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing:
- Quotes are estimates and may be subject to confirmation.
- Pricing may change before an order is finalized.
- Material, supplier, shipping, installation, or product-specification changes may affect pricing.
- A quote does not necessarily constitute an accepted order.
- Quote expiration dates may apply.
The final price applicable to an order will be the price confirmed by MyTrueBlinds at the time the order is accepted.
6. Orders
An order is not considered accepted until MyTrueBlinds confirms the order.
We reserve the right to:
- Decline an order.
- Correct an order-entry or pricing error.
- Request additional information.
- Verify payment information.
- Correct product or configuration information.
- Cancel an order when necessary because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If MyTrueBlinds cancels an order before fulfillment, amounts paid for the canceled order will generally be refunded, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the cancellation.
7. Pricing
Prices displayed on the Website are subject to change.
Pricing may be affected by:
- Product specifications
- Measurements
- Quantity
- Fabric or material selection
- Motorization
- Accessories
- Installation
- Shipping
- Supplier or manufacturer pricing
- Taxes
- Promotions
- Other applicable charges
If a significant pricing error occurs, MyTrueBlinds reserves the right to correct the error and, where appropriate, allow the customer to confirm the corrected price or receive a refund for an order that cannot be fulfilled at the incorrect price.
8. Payments and Deposits
Payment may be required in full or in accordance with an approved payment or deposit arrangement.
Deposits or payments may be used to begin:
- Order processing
- Material procurement
- Manufacturing
- Supplier fulfillment
- Custom production
- Shipping preparation
- Other services associated with the order
Because custom products may begin processing or production after the order is accepted, payments associated with custom orders may become non-refundable after the 24-hour change and cancellation period, except where required by law or otherwise approved by MyTrueBlinds in writing.
9. Order Changes and Cancellations
24-Hour Change and Cancellation Period
Customers have 24 hours from the time an order is placed to request a change, amendment, or cancellation.
During this period, customers may request changes to items such as:
- Product selection
- Quantity
- Measurements
- Fabric
- Color
- Finish
- Mounting
- Controls
- Motorization
- Accessories
- Other specifications
Requests must be received by MyTrueBlinds within the 24-hour period.
After 24 Hours
After the 24-hour period expires, custom orders are considered final.
MyTrueBlinds generally will not accept changes, amendments, or cancellations after 24 hours, even if:
- Production has not yet visibly begun.
- The customer has not received a production notification.
- The order has not yet shipped.
- The manufacturer or supplier has not yet confirmed production.
Exceptions may be made when required by law or when MyTrueBlinds agrees to an exception in writing.
10. Production and Manufacturing
Products may be manufactured or fulfilled by MyTrueBlinds, domestic manufacturers, international manufacturers, suppliers, or other fulfillment partners.
Production times are estimates unless MyTrueBlinds specifically provides a guaranteed production date in writing.
Manufacturing times may vary based on:
- Product type
- Customization
- Materials
- Supplier availability
- Manufacturing capacity
- Seasonal demand
- Quality-control requirements
- Shipping and transportation conditions
Once an order has entered production, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
11. Refunds, Credits, and Compensation for Delays
MyTrueBlinds does not automatically provide refunds, credits, discounts, or other compensation solely because an order experiences a manufacturing, supplier, transportation, shipping, or delivery delay.
If a significant delay is directly caused by MyTrueBlinds, we may, depending on the circumstances, offer an appropriate accommodation such as:
- Partial refund
- Store credit
- Discount
- Future-order discount
- Expedited shipping when available
- Replacement
- Cancellation when reasonably possible
- Another reasonable accommodation
Any courtesy credit, discount, or accommodation does not necessarily constitute an admission of fault or liability.
Additional terms are provided in the Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy.
12. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery are subject to the terms of our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Delivery estimates are generally estimates and are not guaranteed unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
Delivery may be affected by:
- Manufacturing
- Supplier fulfillment
- Carrier delays
- Weather
- Transportation
- Customs
- Address problems
- Access limitations
- Other circumstances outside MyTrueBlinds’ reasonable control
Customers should inspect products promptly after delivery.
Visible damage, incorrect products, missing components, incorrect quantities, or other issues reasonably discoverable during initial inspection should generally be reported to MyTrueBlinds within 7 calendar days after delivery.
13. Installation Services
Installation may be provided by:
- MyTrueBlinds
- Independent installers
- Authorized installation partners
- Other qualified service providers
Installation is subject to our Installation Policy.
Installation estimates, scheduling, and completion dates are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing.
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the installation location and notifying MyTrueBlinds or the installer of known conditions that may affect installation.
14. Customer Property
Customers are responsible for identifying conditions at the installation location that may affect installation.
MyTrueBlinds and its installers are not responsible for pre-existing property conditions, hidden construction conditions, unsafe conditions, structural deficiencies, or other conditions that could not reasonably be identified before or during installation.
Installation may require normal access to walls, ceilings, window frames, trim, electrical connections, or other installation areas depending on the product.
15. Returns and Exchanges
Because many MyTrueBlinds products are custom-made, custom products generally cannot be returned solely because a customer changes their mind or later decides that a different color, fabric, style, product, or configuration would have been preferred.
Three-Day Satisfaction Exchange
For eligible products, MyTrueBlinds may provide a one-time satisfaction exchange when the customer is not satisfied with the selected product or its appearance.
The request must be made within 3 calendar days after delivery.
The satisfaction exchange:
- Is available one time only per order.
- Is limited to a maximum of 5 window coverings.
- Applies only to eligible products.
- May require the original product to be returned.
- May require payment of a price difference for the replacement product.
- Does not automatically include removal, reinstallation, installation labor, travel, service, or property-modification costs.
- Is not a general right to return custom products for a refund.
MyTrueBlinds may establish reasonable product-specific requirements for an exchange.
Products that have been damaged, altered, modified, improperly installed, improperly operated, or otherwise excluded under the applicable policy may not qualify.
The complete requirements are contained in the Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy.
16. Warranty
Eligible MyTrueBlinds products are generally covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of delivery, subject to the applicable Warranty Policy.
The warranty generally applies to qualifying defects in:
- Materials
- Manufacturing
- Workmanship
- Mechanisms
- Internal components
- Supplied hardware
- Other covered components
Warranty coverage is subject to the exclusions, limitations, procedures, and eligibility requirements contained in the Warranty Policy.
17. Seven-Day Delivery Issue Reporting Period
Customers should inspect their order promptly after delivery.
Visible damage, incorrect products, missing components, incorrect quantities, or other issues that are reasonably discoverable during initial inspection should be reported to MyTrueBlinds within 7 calendar days after delivery.
MyTrueBlinds may request:
- Photographs
- Video
- Packaging photographs
- Product labels
- Measurements
- Order information
- Other documentation reasonably necessary to investigate the issue
The 7-day reporting period is intended for issues reasonably discoverable during initial inspection.
It does not eliminate applicable warranty rights for defects that could not reasonably have been discovered during the initial inspection, subject to the Warranty Policy and applicable law.
18. What the Warranty Covers
Subject to the Warranty Policy, qualifying warranty claims may include defects in materials, manufacturing, or workmanship.
Warranty remedies may include, at MyTrueBlinds’ discretion and subject to applicable law:
- Replacement components
- Repair
- Replacement product
- Comparable replacement
- Other appropriate warranty remedy
Exact replacement of discontinued products, fabrics, colors, finishes, or components may not always be possible.
19. Manufacturer and Supplier Warranty Administration
MyTrueBlinds may work with domestic or international manufacturers and suppliers to administer warranty claims.
MyTrueBlinds intends to serve as the primary customer contact for warranty assistance.
Customers generally will not be required to independently locate or communicate with an overseas manufacturer to begin a warranty claim.
Some products may also carry additional manufacturer warranties.
When applicable, MyTrueBlinds may assist with coordinating those warranties.
20. Warranty Claims
Warranty claims should be submitted through MyTrueBlinds customer support.
Customers may be asked to provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Order information
- Photographs
- Video
- Product labels
- Measurements
- Description of the problem
- Installation information
- Other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim
MyTrueBlinds may request an inspection before approving a warranty remedy.
21. Warranty Inspection
MyTrueBlinds may require an inspection of the product, installation, or surrounding conditions before determining whether an issue qualifies for warranty coverage.
Inspection may be performed by:
- MyTrueBlinds
- A manufacturer
- A supplier
- An installer
- An authorized service provider
- Another qualified party
22. Warranty Resolution
If a qualifying warranty claim is approved, MyTrueBlinds may provide a repair, replacement component, replacement product, or other remedy allowed under the applicable warranty.
Warranty remedies may be limited by product availability and manufacturer specifications.
23. Partial Replacement
If only part of an order is defective or damaged, MyTrueBlinds may repair or replace the affected product or component rather than refunding or replacing the entire order.
A problem with one item does not automatically create a right to a refund of the entire order.
24. Warranty Exclusions
Warranty coverage generally does not apply to problems caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse
- Abuse
- Neglect
- Accidents
- Improper operation
- Improper installation
- Improper cleaning
- Improper maintenance
- Unauthorized repairs
- Unauthorized modifications
- Excessive force
- Pets or children
- Water or excessive humidity
- Heat
- Outdoor exposure when the product is intended for indoor use
- Electrical surges
- Improper voltage
- Third-party equipment
- Failure to follow product instructions
- Conditions outside the product’s intended application
- Incorrect customer measurements
- Damage occurring after delivery that is not otherwise covered
- Other conditions excluded by the applicable product warranty
25. Normal Wear and Tear
Custom window coverings naturally experience wear from ordinary use.
Changes in appearance caused by ordinary use, environmental conditions, material characteristics, fading, aging, or other normal wear may not constitute a warranty defect.
26. Motorized and Smart Products
Motorized and smart products may be subject to additional manufacturer-specific warranty terms.
Warranty coverage for:
- Motors
- Controls
- Batteries
- Chargers
- Power supplies
- Hubs
- Smart-home devices
- Connectivity equipment
- Third-party integrations
may differ from the standard product warranty.
Batteries and other consumable items may have limited or no warranty coverage.
27. Installation and Warranty
Improper installation may affect warranty eligibility.
If a customer performs installation themselves, the customer is responsible for following the manufacturer’s and MyTrueBlinds’ installation instructions.
Installation performed by an independent installer may be subject to separate installation terms or warranties.
The standard product warranty does not automatically include free removal, reinstallation, labor, travel, or property repairs unless specifically stated otherwise.
28. Commercial and Trade Orders
Commercial, contractor, designer, builder, house-flipper, trade, and other professional orders may be subject to additional terms.
Additional terms may address:
- Pricing
- Deposits
- Payment schedules
- Quotes
- Purchase orders
- Shipping
- Installation
- Measurement
- Warranty
- Returns
- Exchanges
- Project scheduling
Where a written commercial or trade agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement may control for that order.
29. Warranty Expiration
Unless a separate written warranty provides otherwise, the standard MyTrueBlinds limited warranty expires one year after delivery.
Claims should be submitted within the applicable warranty period.
Certain manufacturer warranties may provide different coverage periods.
30. Proof of Purchase
MyTrueBlinds may require proof of purchase to process refunds, exchanges, warranty claims, or other service requests.
Proof of purchase may include:
- Order confirmation
- Invoice
- Receipt
- Customer account information
- Other reasonable documentation

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Any limitations of liability are subject to applicable law.
38. Indemnification

41. Changes to These Terms
MyTrueBlinds may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes generally apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
The Terms applicable to an order will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of that order.
42. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws or other laws that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
Any dispute-resolution, jurisdiction, venue, arbitration, or similar provisions should be reviewed and finalized by legal counsel before MyTrueBlinds begins accepting orders.
43. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
44. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable MyTrueBlinds policies, order documents, quotes, written agreements, and product-specific terms, constitute the applicable agreement governing the customer’s use of the Website and purchase of products and services.
