MyTrueBlinds Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last Updated: September 16, 2026
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how MyTrueBlinds handles order processing, custom production, shipping, delivery, delivery issues, and related responsibilities.
1. Order Processing
After an order is placed, MyTrueBlinds may begin processing the order, verifying information, communicating with suppliers, and preparing the order for production or fulfillment.
Customers have 24 hours from the time an order is placed to request a change, amendment, or cancellation.
After the 24-hour period, custom orders are generally final and cannot be changed or canceled except where required by law or approved by MyTrueBlinds in writing.
2. Custom Production
Many MyTrueBlinds products are custom-made according to customer-selected specifications.
Production may involve:
- MyTrueBlinds
- Domestic manufacturers
- International manufacturers
- Suppliers
- Fulfillment partners
Production times are estimates unless a specific production date is expressly guaranteed in writing.
3. Shipping Estimates
Estimated shipping and delivery dates are provided for planning purposes.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, shipping and delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
Actual delivery time may vary because of:
- Manufacturing time
- Supplier processing
- Carrier schedules
- Transportation
- Weather
- Holidays
- Customs
- Address issues
- Delivery access
- Other circumstances outside MyTrueBlinds’ reasonable control
4. Tracking Information
When available, MyTrueBlinds may provide tracking information after an order has shipped.
Tracking information is provided by the applicable carrier and may not immediately reflect the physical location or current status of a shipment.
5. Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect delivered products as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers should verify:
- Product type
- Quantity
- Dimensions where reasonably practical
- Visible condition
- Packaging
- Components
- Accessories
- Other readily observable order details
6. Seven-Day Delivery Issue Reporting
Visible damage, incorrect products, missing components, incorrect quantities, or other issues reasonably discoverable during initial inspection should be reported to MyTrueBlinds within 7 calendar days after delivery.
MyTrueBlinds may request:
- Photographs
- Video
- Photographs of packaging
- Product labels
- Shipping labels
- Order information
- Measurements
- Other documentation reasonably necessary to investigate the issue
The 7-day reporting period applies to issues reasonably discoverable during initial inspection.
It does not eliminate applicable warranty rights for defects that could not reasonably have been discovered during the initial inspection.
7. Shipping Damage
If a product appears damaged when delivered, customers should photograph:
- The product
- The packaging
- Shipping labels
- Any visible damage
- The surrounding packaging materials
Customers should contact MyTrueBlinds promptly and within the applicable 7-day reporting period.
MyTrueBlinds may coordinate with the carrier, manufacturer, supplier, or fulfillment provider as necessary.
8. Incorrect Products or Missing Components
If an order contains an incorrect product, incorrect quantity, or missing component, customers should notify MyTrueBlinds within 7 calendar days after delivery when the issue is reasonably discoverable during initial inspection.
MyTrueBlinds may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- Missing components
- Replacement
- Repair
- Corrected product
- Other reasonable resolution
9. Delivery Delays
Manufacturing, supplier, carrier, transportation, weather, customs, or other delays do not automatically create a right to a refund, cancellation, discount, or other compensation.
If a significant delay is directly caused by MyTrueBlinds, MyTrueBlinds may, depending on the circumstances, offer an appropriate accommodation.
Possible accommodations may include:
- Partial refund
- Store credit
- Discount
- Future-order discount
- Expedited shipping when available
- Replacement
- Cancellation when reasonably possible
- Another reasonable accommodation
Any courtesy accommodation does not necessarily constitute an admission of fault or liability.
10. Customer-Caused Delivery Delays
Customers are responsible for providing accurate:
- Shipping addresses
- Contact information
- Delivery instructions
- Access information
- Other information reasonably necessary for delivery
Additional shipping charges or delays may result from incorrect information or customer-caused delivery problems.
11. Delivery Access
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is reasonably accessible.
Large or unusually packaged products may require additional planning for delivery.
MyTrueBlinds is not responsible for property modifications required to accommodate delivery.
12. Lost or Misdelivered Packages
If tracking indicates that a shipment was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should contact MyTrueBlinds promptly.
MyTrueBlinds may work with the carrier or fulfillment provider to investigate the shipment.
Resolution may depend on carrier findings, shipping insurance, delivery records, and other circumstances.
13. International or Overseas Fulfillment
Some products may be manufactured or fulfilled by international suppliers.
International manufacturing does not necessarily mean the customer must communicate directly with an overseas manufacturer.
MyTrueBlinds will generally serve as the customer’s primary contact for order and delivery assistance.
International fulfillment may involve additional production, transportation, customs, or other delays.
14. Installation Scheduling
Shipping and delivery are separate from installation scheduling.
Delivery of a product does not automatically mean installation will occur on the same day or immediately afterward.
Installation is governed by the MyTrueBlinds Installation Policy.
15. Force Majeure
MyTrueBlinds is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Fire
- Flood
- Power failures
- Transportation disruptions
- Supplier disruptions
- Manufacturing disruptions
- Government actions
- Customs delays
- Labor disruptions
- Public emergencies
- War
- Civil disturbances
- Internet or telecommunications failures
- Other circumstances beyond reasonable control
