MyTrueBlinds Warranty Policy

Last Updated: September 16, 2026

MyTrueBlinds provides this Warranty Policy for eligible products purchased directly from MyTrueBlinds.

This policy explains the standard limited warranty provided by MyTrueBlinds and how customers can request warranty assistance.

1. Standard One-Year Limited Warranty

Unless a separate written warranty states otherwise, eligible residential products are covered by a one-year limited warranty beginning on the date the product is delivered.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser and the original installation location.

The warranty is subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations contained in this policy.

2. What the Warranty Covers

Subject to the exclusions below, the standard limited warranty may cover qualifying defects in:

  • Materials
  • Manufacturing
  • Workmanship
  • Product mechanisms
  • Internal components
  • Supplied mounting hardware
  • Cords, chains, or operating components where applicable
  • Other covered components supplied with the product

A product must be used, installed, operated, cleaned, and maintained in accordance with applicable instructions for warranty coverage to apply.

3. MyTrueBlinds as the Customer Warranty Contact

MyTrueBlinds intends to serve as the customer’s primary contact for warranty assistance.

MyTrueBlinds may coordinate with:

  • Domestic manufacturers
  • International manufacturers
  • Suppliers
  • Fulfillment partners
  • Installers
  • Authorized service providers

Customers generally will not be required to independently locate or contact an overseas manufacturer to begin a warranty claim.

4. Additional Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may carry additional manufacturer warranties that provide coverage beyond the standard MyTrueBlinds warranty.

Where applicable, MyTrueBlinds may assist customers in coordinating additional manufacturer warranty coverage.

Manufacturer-specific warranty terms may differ from this standard warranty.

5. Seven-Day Delivery Issue Reporting

Customers should inspect products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Visible damage, incorrect products, missing components, incorrect quantities, or other problems reasonably discoverable during initial inspection should be reported to MyTrueBlinds within 7 calendar days after delivery.

MyTrueBlinds may request photographs, video, packaging information, product labels, measurements, or other information necessary to evaluate the issue.

The 7-day reporting period does not eliminate applicable warranty rights for defects that were not reasonably discoverable during initial inspection, subject to this Warranty Policy and applicable law.

6. Defects Discovered After Initial Inspection

A defect that is not reasonably discoverable during initial inspection may still qualify for warranty consideration if it is discovered during the applicable warranty period.

Customers should report qualifying problems promptly after discovering them.

The warranty does not require a customer to report a latent or non-obvious defect within the 7-day initial-inspection period.

7. Warranty Remedies

If MyTrueBlinds determines that a claim qualifies under this warranty, available remedies may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement component
  • Replacement product
  • Comparable replacement
  • Other appropriate remedy permitted by applicable law

MyTrueBlinds may determine the appropriate remedy based on the nature of the issue, availability of parts, product availability, and applicable warranty requirements.

Exact replacement of a discontinued product, fabric, color, finish, or component may not always be possible.

8. Labor and Reinstallation

Unless specifically stated in writing, the standard product warranty does not automatically include:

  • Removal of the original product
  • Reinstallation
  • Installation labor
  • Travel charges
  • Service-call charges
  • Property repairs
  • Modifications to the installation location

A separate installation warranty or service agreement may provide different coverage.

9. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage generally does not apply to problems caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse
  • Abuse
  • Neglect
  • Accidents
  • Improper operation
  • Improper installation
  • Improper cleaning
  • Improper maintenance
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Excessive force
  • Pets or children
  • Water or excessive humidity
  • Heat
  • Outdoor exposure when the product is intended for indoor use
  • Electrical surges
  • Improper voltage
  • Third-party equipment
  • Failure to follow instructions
  • Use outside the product’s intended application
  • Incorrect customer measurements
  • Damage occurring after delivery that is not otherwise covered
  • Other conditions specifically excluded by the applicable product warranty

10. Customer Measurements

When customers provide their own measurements, incorrect measurements are generally not considered a manufacturing defect.

If MyTrueBlinds provided a measurement service or measurement guarantee for the order, the terms of that service or guarantee will apply.

Customers should review the MyTrueBlinds Measurement Policy before ordering custom products.

11. Motorized and Smart Products

Motorized and smart products may be subject to additional manufacturer-specific warranty requirements.

Coverage may differ for:

  • Motors
  • Controllers
  • Remotes
  • Batteries
  • Chargers
  • Power supplies
  • Smart hubs
  • Connectivity equipment
  • Third-party smart-home equipment

Batteries and other consumable components may have shorter warranty periods or may not be covered.

12. Installation

Improper installation may affect warranty eligibility.

Customers performing their own installation are responsible for following applicable installation instructions.

Installation performed by an independent installer may be subject to separate installation terms.

The standard product warranty does not automatically cover damage caused by improper installation.

13. Warranty Inspection

MyTrueBlinds may require an inspection before approving a warranty claim.

An inspection may be performed by:

  • MyTrueBlinds
  • A manufacturer
  • A supplier
  • An installer
  • An authorized service provider
  • Another qualified party

Customers may be asked to provide photographs or video before an inspection is scheduled.

14. Warranty Claims

Warranty claims should be submitted through MyTrueBlinds customer support.

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Order information
  • Product information
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs
  • Video
  • Product labels
  • Installation information
  • Measurements
  • Other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim

15. Partial Product Issues

If only one product or component in an order has a qualifying warranty issue, MyTrueBlinds may repair or replace the affected item or component.

A defect involving one item does not automatically create a right to a refund or replacement of the entire order.

16. Warranty Transfer

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided in writing, this limited warranty applies to the original purchaser and original installation location and may not be transferable.

17. Warranty Expiration

The standard MyTrueBlinds limited warranty expires one year after delivery, unless a separate written warranty provides a different period.

18. Proof of Purchase

MyTrueBlinds may require reasonable proof of purchase before processing a warranty claim.

Proof may include:

  • Order confirmation
  • Invoice
  • Receipt
  • Customer account information
  • Other reasonable documentation

19. Legal Rights

This warranty provides specific rights, and customers may have additional rights under applicable federal, state, or local law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.

20. Satisfaction Exchanges Are Separate

The 3-day satisfaction exchange described in the Refunds, Returns & Cancellations Policy is separate from this warranty.

The satisfaction exchange is not a warranty claim and does not extend the warranty period.

Likewise, the 7-day initial delivery issue reporting period is separate from the warranty period.

21. Changes to This Warranty Policy

MyTrueBlinds may update this Warranty Policy from time to time.

The current version will be posted on the Website with an updated date.
